Kirkaldy Burgh Police, a fine and scarce white metal die-stamped shako or helmet plate, a large oval depiction of the Seal and motto of the burgh with an ornate tri-part scroll in three-quarter surround the bifurcated scroll ends with thistle finials, three original brass finials to the reverse; together with two white metal buttons a QVC example to the Kinrossshire Police and a KC type to the Perthshire Constabulary; an unidentified silver plated Scottish police collar badge central shield with Scottish Lion and small castle crest of a Highland warrior with sword and targe supporters an eagle and a horse, motto Pro Rege et Libertate, excellent condition (4) £100-150
