Glasgow Fire Brigade L.S. Medal, 2 clasps, 20 Years, 5 Years (loose on ribbon), (James Morrison), silver, hallmarks for Birmingham 1932, in case of issue, extremely fine £40-60

Sold with a permit bearing a photograph of the recipient and giving his address as ‘Western Fire Station, 59 Cranston St., C.3’, also with a National Fire Service letter giving notice of his discharge on 22.10.1943 and a doctor’s note stating Morrison had suffered from valvular disease of the heart since 7.12.1942 and was unfit for work.
