Army L.S.G.C., V.R., large letter reverse (No. 157 Pte. James Worral, 4th Battn. Rifle Brige.) fitted with replacement silver loop and bar suspension, very fine £80-100

James Worrall was born at Marlborough, Wiltshire, and enlisted into the Rifle Brigade at Bristol on 20 May 1839. He served abroad for ten months only, in Malta, and transferred to the 4th Battalion in November 1857 and was discharged on 30 July 1860. He was admitted to Chelsea as an In-Pensioner in October 1885 and died on 12 May 1893. Sold with copy discharge papers.
