Military Medal, G.V.R. (9771 Sjt., 3/Rif. Bde.); Ashanti Star 1896 (9771 Pte., 2B. R.B.); 1914 Star (9771 Pte., 3/Rif. Brig.); British War and Victory Medals (9771 Sjt., Rif. Brig.); Coronation 1911 (9771 Rfn., 1st Bn. Rif. Bde.); Army L.S. & G.C., E.VII.R. (9771 Pte., Rifle Bde.) light contact marks but generally very fine or better, the combination probably unique (7) £800-1000

The Rifle Brigade Detachment to the Ashanti Expedition comprised 24 men under Captain A. F. Acland-Hood, and, with a similar detachment from the 60th Rifles, formed No. 5 Company of the Special Service Corps.
