1939-45 Star; France and Germany Star; Defence, Canadian silver issue; Canadian Volunteer Service Medal, with Overseas clasp; War Medal, Canadian silver issue; Efficiency Medal, G.VI.R. 1st issue, Canada (Cpl., C.H. of O. (M.G.)); Canadian Decoration, E.II.R., with Second Award bar (Q.M.S. (W.O.2)), mounted Court style for display, cleaned , lacquered, some contact marks, very fine and better (7) £120-160

John Campbell was born in Montreal in 1915. He served with the Cameron Highlanders of Ottawa during 1931-39 and enlisted into the Canadian Army as a Sergeant in the Cameron Highlanders on 2.9.1939. Between July 1940 and May 1945 he served mainly in the U.K. and north west Europe as Regimental and Physical Training Instructor. He was repatriated in July 1945 with a broken hip. He continued to serve in the Army in a variety of units until his death in 1966. Sold with a quantity of copied service papers.
