silver; Canadian Volunteer Service Medal, no clasp, with related Canadian Memorial Cross, G.VI.R., the reverse engraved, ‘M. 56292 Pte. J. F. Watson’, the last with replacement suspension bar, extremely fine (3) £20-30

John Finlay Watson was born in Belfast in September 1892 and served with the 51st Battalion Canadian Infantry between August 1915 and March 1919. Re-enlisting in February 1942, he served at No. 133 Internment Camp at Lethbridge, Alberta until his death in February 1945.
