Arthur Edward Woster was born in London, England and emigrated to Canada in 1921. He enlisted with the Queen’s Own Cameron Highlannders on 2.9.1939 and served overseas in the rank of Transport Sergeant in December 1940. In May 1941 he was Transport Sergeant of 6th Brigade. In September 1942 Wooster was appointed C.S.M. in charge of Defence Platoon and was Brigade Disciplinarian, being transferred to Lorne Scots for this purpose. He returned to Canada in March 1944 as medically unfit by reason of defective vision in one eye. He was discharged in 1946. Sold with a quantity of copied service papers.
