Private Cuthbert Leslie Vear was born in Alford, Lincolnshire and enlisted in Peterborough, Northamptonshire. Serving in the 2nd battalion Northamptonshire Regiment, he was killed in action, France / Flanders, 31.7.1917, aged 29 years. His name is listed on the Menin Gate Memorial.

Private Harry William Wootton was born in Syresham, Northamptonshire and enlisted in Brackley, Northamptonshire. Serving in the 6th battalion Northamptonshire Regiment, he died of wounds, France / Flanders, 11.8.1918, aged 22 years. He was buried in the Contay British Cemetery, France.
