Arthur Bree was born and enlisted at Leicester. He was killed in action in France and Flanders on 16 August 1917, whilst serving with the 4th Battalion, Worcestershire Regiment. His name is commemorated on the Tyne Cot Memorial, Zonnebeke, Belgium.

Harold Bree lived at Clarendon Park, Leicester and enlisted at London. He died at home on 2 May 1918, whilst serving with the Railway Traffic Establishment, Royal Engineers, and is buried at Leicester (Welford Road) Cemetery, Leicestershire.
