C.E.’, complete with top bar; Colonial Auxiliary Forces Long Service, G.V.R. (Major, 2nd Fld. Troop C.E.) very fine and better (8) £300-350

Charles Napier Gordon Milne was born in Ellen, Aberdenshire in 1880 and enlisted into the Gordon Highlander in 1900. He was commissioned into the 2nd Field Company Canadian Engineers in September 1914 and served until demobilized in February 1919. Further service followed in the Canadian Colonial Auxiliary Forces where he attained the rank of Major.
