The Border Regiment, a fine and rare officer’s glengarry cap complete with badge c1884-1897, the body of navy blue wool cloth, toorie of same format, deep black silk bottom edging, double black silk tails, black silk ‘cockade’ backing to the very fine silver coloured metal and bi-enamel badge, this similar to the officer’s helmet plate centre title at base battle honours on arms of the cross etc, minor moth nips to the body and the silk tails frayed otherwise in very good condition £250-300
