Orders, Decorations, Medals and Militaria to coincide with the OMRS Convention

1st Dragoons Order of Merit 1815/16, silver cross pattée with top arm extended in the form of a semi-circle, 55 x 44mm., obv. a French Eagle above a wreathed ‘1 D’, with ‘Waterloo’, ‘Merit’ and ‘Peninsula’ on the arms; rev. engraved, ‘B. Crumsty, 1816’, (ref. Balmer R31), good very fine and rare £400-500

A total of seven medals are known of which four are held by the Household Cavalry Museum.
