Four: Quarter-Master Sergeant G. S. Fulton, Royal Highlanders

Egypt and Sudan 1882-89, 2 clasps, El-Teb-Tamaai, The Nile 1884-85; Army L.S. & G.C., E.VII.R. (1186 C. Sjt., Rl. Hdrs.); Army Meritorious Service Medal, G.V.R. (S-8536 Q.M. Sjt., R. George S. Fulton, who served in the Black Watch from 1882-1908, was Boy Trumpeter to Colonel Wachope during the Nile Expedition 1884-85 and was present at the Battles of El-Teb and Tamaai. Awarded the L.S. & G.C. Medal in 1907, the year before his retirement, he was recalled to the Colours in the Great War and served at the Black Watch’s Depot as an Orderly Room Q.M.S. and was awarded the M.S.M. (London Gazette 22 February 1919). He died in 1936; sold with copy portrait photograph.
