Volunteer Force Long Service, V.R. (Sgt. W. H. Harvey, 1st V.B., Cheshires); together with three shooting prize medals, the first struck in gold, 39 m.m., kneeling rifleman to obverse centre, inscribed around ‘2nd E.C. V.B. Cheshire Regiment F. & G. Companies, Runcorn’, the reverse engraved ‘Champion, Sergt. W. H. Harvey 1894, Sergt. W. H. Harvey 1895, finally won by Sergt. W. H. Harvey 1896’; the other two struck in silver, 39 m.m., both with identical portraits to obverse of kneeling riflemen, with ‘In Defence’ inscribed below, the reverses with similar inscriptions within wreath, the dates only differing ‘Runcorn Shooting Club Challenge Medal won by Sergeant W. H. Harvey, 1882 (& 1884)’, the three shooting medals with claw and swivel scroll suspensions; together with seven related unnamed Knights Templar medals, etc., generally good very fine or better (11) £200-250
