Harold Upham was born at Tiverton, Devon and enlisted at Bridgend, Glamorgan. He was killed in action in France and Flanders on 25 March 1918 whilst serving with the 1/5th Battalion, Lancashire Fusiliers. His name is commemorated on the Arras Memorial, France.
