Henry Doswell was born and enlisted at Liverpool. He was killed in action in France and Flanders on 6 September 1917 whilst serving with the 1/6th Battalion, Lancashire Fusiliers. He is buried at Tyne Cot Cemetery, Zonnebeke, West-Vlaaderen, Belgium.
