Henry Curran was born at Askam, Lancashire, and attested for the 9th Lancers at Lancaster on 7 September 1891. He served in South Africa from August 1896 to March 1898, and then in India until February 1899. He served again in South Africa during the Boer War from December 1899 until November 1900. Sold with copy service papers.
