A Great War M.C. group of three awarded to Captain J. G. Anderson, Royal Army Medical Corps, attached 1/6th Black Watch, killed in action on the first day of the German Spring offensive in March 1918

Military Cross, G.V.R.; British War and Victory Medals, with M.I.D. oak leaf (Capt.); together with memorial plaque (John George Anderson) the Victory Medal heavily polished, therefore good fine or better (4) £400-450

M.C. London Gazette 1 January 1918.

John George Anderson, Royal Army Medical Corpts, attached 1/6th Battalion, Black Watch, was killed in action on 21 March 1918, the first day of the German Spring offensive. He is commemorated on the Arras Memorial.
