1914-15 Star (11-843 Pte., E. York. R.); Victory Medal (11-843 Pte., E. York. R.); together with memorial plaque (Frank Woods), the plaque pierced at 12 o’clock, otherwise good very fine (3) £20-30

Frank Woods was born in Cambridge and enlisted at Hull. He was killed in action in France and Flanders on 8 November 1917, whilst serving with the 11th Battalion, East Yorkshire Regiment; sold with original Record Office forwarding letter for the 1914-15 Star, and Buckingham Palace forwarding message for the memorial plaque.
