Queen’s South Africa 1899-1902, no clasp (Sto. H.M.S. Terrible); China 1900, 1 clasp, Relief of Pekin (Sto. H.M.S. Terrible); 1914-15 Star Trio (285274 Sto.1 R.N.) together with Borough of Portsmouth tribute medal, silver and enamels, hallmarked 1902, the reverse impressed ‘Naval Brigade - South Africa 1899-1900 - North China 1900’, very fine or better (6) £500-600

Alfred John Voar was born at Warblington, Hampshire, on 9 August 1877, and joined the Royal Navy as a Stoker 2nd Class on 4 May 1897. He served on board Terrible from March 1898 until October 1902, seeing service in South Africa and China. Sold with copy service record.
