Pair: Corporal George Hall, Royal Marines

India General Service 1854-95, 1 clasp, Pegu (Geo. Hall “Fox”); Baltic 1854-55, unnamed as issued, heavy contact marks and edge bruising, therefore good fine (2) £180-220

George Hall was born at Pateley Bridge, York, and enlisted for the Royal Marines at Leeds on 19 May 1848, aged 20 years 6 months. He served aboard H.M.S. Fox during the operations in Burma, and aboard H.M.S. Colossus in the Baltic. He was promoted to Corporal in January 1858 and discharged on 22 September 1860. Sold with detailed research including copy attestation and discharge papers.
