Four: Flight Sergeant J. F. D. Churchill, No. 203 Squadron, Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve, Flight Engineer of a Liberator which failed to return from an anti-shipping patrol off Sumatra in July 1945

John Frank Dawes Churchill was the son of John and Marjory Churchill, and husband of Sylvia Victoria Churchill, of Bridgewater, Somerset. He was the Flight Engineer on Liberator No. KG-911 which failed to return from an anti-shipping patrol off Sumatra on 23 July 1945, aged 20. He is commemorated by name on the Singapore Memorial inside Kranji War Cemetery.
