Enos Bishop was awarded his L.S. & G.C. Medal in December 1870.

He was born in Bridport, Dorset in May 1829 and joined the Royal Navy as a Boy 1st Class aboard H.M.S.
Powerful in January 1848. Rated as a Ropemaker in June 1860, he remained thus employed until his final appointment aboard the Asia in December 1868.
