West Kent Light Infantry Militia, a scarce officer’s waist belt clasp c1855-1881, gilt with silver title ring and silver on gilt centre, centrally the White Horse of Kent and Invicta scroll lodged within the strings of a bugle horn, full unit title in surround, matching bench marks and maker’s mark ‘J&Co’, gilt sections dirty and rubbed otherwise very good condition £70-90

Some militias wore these gilt/silver clasps for wear with a full dress/levee (unofficial) gold laced waist belt.
