West Kent Yeomanry, a very fine officer’s full dress sabretache red moroccan leather back with red cloth facing this covered with 2” silver train lace, bullion and velvet crown, silver bullion White Horse and Invicta scroll, silver bullion leaf decoration and tri-part scroll ‘Liberty Loyalty Property’, three short red leather straps attached to the ‘D’ rings, the straps with ornate silver plated buckles, the lace dull but sound two minute moth holes to the facing cloth, the light blue silk backing to the scrolls worn away; an extremely fine and rare officer’s torrin cap in dark blue cloth the curtain and crown edged with silver cord, a large embroidered badge to the side being an Imperial QC over monogram ‘WK’ over ‘YC’, below a silver Invicta scroll this with blue silk backing, retailed by Hawkes & Co 14 Piccadilly, mint state; a fine officer’s folding side hat navy blue curtain with scarlet crown edged all round with silver cord, two small plated frontal buttons, side ornament being a silver coloured metal White Horse over Invicta scroll, retailed by Hawkes & Co., small moth holes and surface mothing to the scarlet section, otherwise excellent condition; silver bullion sword knot, mint state; a fine and scarce officer’s undress flap pouch black patent leather mounted with a very large two part badge being a QVC over the White Horse with ornate Invicta scroll below, some crazing to the patent leather and two nuts missing from the reverse fasteners; an officer’s five button blue cloth patrol jacket scarlet cloth stand-up collar and pointed cuffs, a facing pair of plated White Horse and Invicta collar badges, small white metal unit buttons fitted overall, the scarlet sections with severe mothing overall (6) £650-750
