Queen’s Own Royal West Kent Regiment, 1st Volunteer Battalion, a very fine and scarce drummer’s full dress scarlet tunic, blue facings and embellished with correct red on white ‘drummer’s lace’ wings, and similar sleeve and collar decoration, shoulder straps with green cloth woven insignia ‘1/V/R.W.KENT’, seven large KC white metal Royal Arms pattern buttons to the front, right sleeve with three black woven profiency stars, the drum and medical(?) badges missing, bullion crossed rifles on the lower left sleeve, no tailor’s label, near mint condition £60-80
