Queen’s Own Royal West Kent Regiment, a good quality field officer’s No1 Dress cap bearing a silver plated cap badge and fitted with correct chin strap gilt and silver KC buttons retailed by Herbert Johnson 38 New Bond Street, pricked out owner’s initials TCC; 50th (or the Queen’s Own Regiment), a good quality pair of officer’s gold cord shoulder straps as used on the scarlet frock c1860 each one fitted with the correct size button; a pair of other ranks brass cavalry shoulder scales pre 1855 by I.G.Nutting London, finial button rubbed on one missing on the other; a brass match box cover with raised decoration ‘Womens’ Branch Bombay Presidency War and Relief Fund 1914-1918’; a buff canvas stable belt with three nondescript badges; a current period Royal Marines waist belt clasp, very good overall condition (8) £50-60
