1898 Infantry Pattern Officer’s Sword, a good quality GVR period sword by Fenton Brothers Sheffield, Sword Cutlers to the War Office, blade with usual scroll engraving Royal Cypher and Royal Arms, plated handguard with GVR cypher, complete with brown leather sword knot and contained in brown leather Field Service scabbard, small patches of surface discolouration to the blade but otherwise in very fine overall condition £100-150
