Great War Illuminated Memorial Scrolls (2), comprising ‘Capt. Hugh Seymour Blane, 19th Lancers’; ‘2nd Lt. Robert Henry Curtis, Royal West Surrey Regt.’, the second cropped at edges, otherwise good condition (2) £30-40

Hugh Seymour Blane died of wounds in France and Flanders on 1 November 1914, whilst serving with the 19th Lancers, attached 5th Dragoon Guards.

Robert Henry Curtis was killed in action in Flanders on 20 September 1917, whilst serving with the 10th Battalion, Royal West Surrey Regiment.
