Queen’s South Africa 1899-1902, 3 clasps, Cape Colony, Rhodesia, Transvaal (Capt. J. Browne, 17/Imp. Yeo.) nearly extremely fine £140-160

Lieutenant, 5th (Militia) Battalion, Royal Munster Fusiliers, 7 March 1900; Lieutenant & Captain, 17th (Hampshire, Dublin, Belfast, and Leicestershire companies) Battalion, Imperial Yeomanry, 7 April 1900. Captain Browne resigned his commission in the Imperial Yeomanry on 27 July 1901, and retired from the Militia in May 1902.
