Naval General Service 1793-1840, 1 clasp, Copenhagen 1801 (Joseph Brown) nearly extremely fine £600-700

Joseph Brown is confirmed as an Able Seaman aboard Alcamene at Copenhagen. This medal was sold by Glendining in July 1912 and by Sotheby in July 1982. Four other men with these names are shown on the roll, two for Syria, and two for Trafalgar (Belleisle and Victory).
