72 Maida clasps to the regiment but only 2 as single clasp medals.

Edward Splatt is one of only two Drummers awarded this medal. He was born in Tiverton, Devon, and enlisted for unlimited service at Exeter on 22 August 1796, aged 14 years. He served for 28 years 47 days and was discharged on 7 October 1824.
