1914 Star (4628 Pte., 2/K.R. Rif. C.); British War and Victory Medals (4628 Pte., K.R. Rif. C.) nearly extremely fine (3) £60-80

John Charles Pockett was born at Cheltenham and enlisted in Birmingham. He was killed in action in France and Flanders on 30 July 1916 whilst serving with the 2nd Battalion, King’s Royal Rifle Corps. He is buried in Serre Road Cemetery, Somme, France.
