Tom Sanderson was born at Claxton, York, on 16 September 1857. He first entered as a Domestic 2nd Class aboard H.M.S. Alexandra on 7 December 1881, and served as a Captain's Servant until 20 October 1882, when he was granted his request to be discharged from the service at Malta. Sold with copy medal roll.
