Royal Naval Officer’s Sword c1805-1825 as described for Commanders and above, gilt stirrup hilt with wire bound ivory hand grip, fouled anchor motif langets, the single fullered blade retains some original gilding but no blueing, the standard Royal, Naval and floral motifs, period bullion sword knot, contained in its leather and copper gilt scabbard, blade with severe rusting, no gilt remains on the scabbard mounts some 50% gilt remains on the hand guard areas. £250-350
