The Cheshire Regiment, an officer’s 1878 pattern home service blue cloth helmet fitted with the QVC officer’s star pattern plate (KK237) all fittings present and leather sweatband intact, the plate in very good condition no gilt remains to the other fittings, chin chain velvet lining partly detached, the skull sound but with three small moth holes, plate not original to the helmet. £250-350
