Kemmis, Royal Artillery 1877’, in fitted case of issue, nearly extremely fine £350-400

Colonel W. Kemmis served during the South African War 1900-01, performing the duties of Commandant, Port Elizabeth 23 to 28 February 1901, and Naauwpoort 2 July 1900 to 20 May 1901. In command, 4th Battalion, Royal Lancaster Regiment 1 February 1900 to 11 July 1901. (Despatches London Gazette 10 September 1900). Subsequently awarded C.M.G.
