Waterloo 1815 (Richard Wilkins, 2nd Batt. Coldstream Gds.) fitted with contemporary silver ball and straight bar suspension, old repair to suspension ball and plugged at 12 o’clock, edge bruising and contact marks, otherwise good fine and quite presentable £800-1000

Richard Wilkins enlisted on 3 April 1813 and was discharged on 1 April 1820. At Waterloo he served in Lieutenant-Colonel Hon. J. Walpole’s Light Company of the Coldstream Guards, and was one of the gallant defenders of the chateau of Hougoumont.
