George III (1760-1820) Pre-1816 issues, Proof Halfpenny, 1770, in copper, edge plain, struck en médaille, 12.49g (BMC 895; Selig –; Norweb 1040). Small toning spot in front of nose, otherwise extremely fine and practically as struck with most attractive even patina, rare (£400-500)
