Charles I (1625-1649), Briot’s Second Milled issue, Shilling, mm. anchor (flukes to right), signed b both sides, from the same dies as previous, 5.80g (SCBI Brooker 725-6, same dies; N 2305; S 2859). Field surfaces somewhat rough and some verdigris adhering to second quarter of shield, otherwise about very fine (£80-100)
