Charles I (1625-1649), Tower mint, gold Crown, Gp. D, mm. bell (over portcullis on obv.), fourth bust with jewelled crown, beaded inner circle on obv., wire-line inner circle on rev., reads ma br fr et hi, 2.24g (N 2185; S 2707). Edge a little uneven, fine, reverse better, a scarce mark (£120-150)
