James I (1603-1625), Third coinage, Laurel, mm. thistle, third bust, reads bri fra et hib, 8.89g (N 2113; S 2638A). Flan a trifle ragged [perhaps at one time removed from a mount], minor scratches on obverse, otherwise about very fine (£350-400)
