Elizabeth I (1558-1603), First issue, Groat, mm. lis, larger bust with plain dress, reads elizbeth and regin, wire-line and beaded inner circles, 2.06g (Brown/Comber 1F; N 1986; S 2551). Flan flaw in field behind Queen’s crown and some double-striking in legends, otherwise good fine (£60-80)
