Henry VIII (1509-1547), Second coinage, Crown of the Double Rose, mm. rose, crowned hk [Henry and Katherine of Aragon] divided by rose on obv. only, reads aglie, franc and hiberie, mostly Roman letters, double saltire stops on rev., 3.69g (Whitton i; N 1788; S 2273). Pierced and plugged on reverse at 12 o’clock, removed from a circular mount, otherwise good fine or better (£120-150)
