Edward IV (Second reign, 1471-1483), Angel, London, type XVI/XVIII mule, mm. cross and four pellets on obv., pierced cross with pellet in first quarter on rev., reads xpc redempt, 5.02g (Webb Ware dies 19/36 and BNJ 1985, pl.4, 19, pl.6, 36; B & W XVI/XVIIIa, and BNJ 1948, pl.xiv, 7 [= Lockett 4320 = SCBI Schneider 463], same dies; N 1626; S 2091). A trifle crimped and some old scratch marks on reverse, otherwise about very fine and an extremely rare mule (£500-600)
