Edward IV (First reign, 1461-1470), Light coinage, Groats (3), all London, type VII, mm. crown, fleurs on cusps but not on breast, 2.69g (B & W VII, 1, var 4); type VIII (2), both mm. crown on obv., sun on rev., trefoils on cusps and over crown, pos of posvi over osv, no punctuation after franc, saltire stops both sides, 2.93g (B & W VIII, 3a); trefoils on cusps but not over crown, saltire stops both sides, 2.70g (B & W VIII, 3b; N 1570-1; S 2000) [3].
