Henry VI (First reign, 1422-1461), Leaf-Pellet issue, class A, Groat, London, mm. cross IIIb on obv. only, pellets by crown and leaf on breast, reads angl and franc, c over mint-mark, no stops on rev., pellets under tas and don, 3.86g (Whitton 42d; N 1503; S 1914). Small striking split and some weakness in legends, otherwise good fine, toned (£50-70)
