British War and Victory Medals (45346 Pte., York. R.); together with memorial plaque (Thomas Caygill); identity disc; cap badge; illuminated memorial scroll; and photograph of soldier in uniform, all mounted in an old glazed frame, nearly extremely fine (3) £50-60

Thomas Caygill was born at Leeming Bridge and enlisted at Richmond, Yorkshire. He was killed in action in France and Flanders on 24 April 1917 whilst serving with the 6th Battalion, Yorkshire Regiment.
