Cheshire Rifle Volunteers, 5th Battalion, a very fine pair of silver plated pouch belt plates c1875-1901, of ovoid outline and featuring the Victorian Imperial crown over laurel sprays and enclosing a strap inscribed ‘Cheshire Rifle Volunteers’, within the strap a cross of the Order of the Bath overlaid with an oval bearing in the centre ‘5’ and inscribed ‘Battalion 1860’, two ‘D’ shaped fasteners to the reverse, mint state (2) £120-150
