Queen’s South Africa 1899-1902, 1 clasp, Relief of Ladysmith (3917 Pte. W. B. Buckle, W. Yorkshire Regt.) minor edge bruise, otherwise nearly extremely fine £300-350

Private W. B. Buckle died of wounds at Spearman’s Camp on 21 January 1900 whilst serving with the 2nd Battalion, West Yorkshire Regiment. On this day the regiment suffered the loss of four men killed and one officer and 35 men wounded.
